Studies on the Establishment of Cultural Practices of Allium grayi Regel

Abstract
Field experiments were conducted to investigate the effects of N, P and K application level on the growth and yield of Allium grayi Regel. Fertilizer application accelerated the plant growth, and increased the yield by promoting the differentiation and development of bulblets. Fertilizer application effect on the yield increase was remarkably high in the harvest after wintering. N fertilization was effective in accelerating the plant growth and increasing the yield, and fertilization effects on P and K were low with no difference between each fertilizer. Optimum fertilization rate for the cultivation in the open field having normal soil fertility was estimated to be N 8§¸/10a, P 5§¸/10a and K 5§¸/10a, respectively.
